Mission: (Why We Exist)
The mission of Listen to Learn International is to strengthen the spiritual life and ministry of resource-poor, learning-disadvantaged church leaders around the world, by making audio Bible training in indigenous languages available to, accessible by and affordable for them.

Vision: (What We Aim to Become)
Listen to Learn International will become a leading repository of Bible-teaching audio libraries in a wide range of indigenous languages; it will partner with many churches and ministries to deliver this teaching to churches and their leaders in impoverished or hard-to-reach locations across the majority world; and it will explore innovative communication technologies and their applications to these tasks.

Values: (Assumptions That Underlie Our Vision)
Listen to Learn International believes...

That all believers need, if they are to grow in their walk with Christ, clear, sound and understandable teaching about Scripture and our life in the Spirit;

That the widespread absence of such secondary learning resources is one of the core deficiencies in the churches of the 'majority world';

That there is great strategic value in 'teaching the teachers';

That audio teaching - learning by listening - is a teaching strategy that works well with both literate and non-literate learners in areas of the world less print-saturated than ours;

That such teaching is most available and effective if in the 'heart language' of the listener;

That church growth initiatives should be locally driven;

That the wise and creative use of modern technology enlarges windows of opportunity even in non-technical societies;

That the kaleidoscopic field of information technologies presents the best opportunity for effective extension of missional

activities and budgets in the twenty-teens decade.


Strategic Objectives:

To build libraries of quality biblical teaching in local translation across many languages in the developing world.

To extract maximum educational impact from new and upcoming communication technologies.

To build a strong network of western churches and believers who are committed to sharing the deposit of learning that has been entrusted to our keeping - and will invest in that.

To grow a business that is financially stable, spiritually alert, technologically current, and true to the Word of God in its governance.


Core Beliefs
Listen to Learn International has adopted the Statement of Faith of the World Evangelical Alliance:

We believe in...

The Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct;

One God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;

Our Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, his virgin birth, his sinless human life, his divine miracles, his vicarious and atoning death, his bodily resurrection, his ascension, his mediatorial work, and his personal return in power and glory;

The Salvation of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit;

The Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ;

The Unity of the Spirit of all true believers, the Church, the Body of Christ;

The Resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
